The weight of God's power

Good morning!

Nothing can come against you that can even slightly compete with the power of God.

I was thinking about that the other day because sometimes the things in life threaten that statement, whether it’s health issues or the silly things that seem to steal joy during the day, or walls that we feel are keeping us from what we want.

““ I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you.’ Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.”

When you think about the power of God On one of those balancing scales, His side drops down into oblivion it is so weighty. The side that opposes Him and His will, is so light that you can’t even see that there is anything weighing on that side of the scale.

He says “I myself will help you.” Isaiah 41:14

Rejoice in that. It’s a promise from THE Promise Keeper!
