Glorious Plans!

Good morning!

My prayers have been focused on the health and improvement of my brother in law. In addition, I have been praying that God will fulfill His purpose through me.

I know He always can use anyone He chooses. But I don’t want to be responsible for not being an open vessel. I believe I need to do my part and not obstruct through lack of obedience.

As I was praying, I went straight to Psalm 138 and smiled:

“The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; Your love, O Lord, endures forever....” Psalm 138:8

Whatever you are moving toward that is part of God’s plan, it is so good to know that He continually leads and redirects as necessary.

What He is looking for is those who are “lowly” meaning they aren’t so full of pride that they don’t choose to be malleable.

“Though the Lord is on high, He looks upon the lowly, but the proud He knows from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve my life....” Psalm 138:6-7
