YOU can make a difference
It is so exciting to me to see people begin to see changes in their health.Karen told me that she is getting off some of her medicines! Patti has lost weight despite working at the fair and having a very busy multi-job life lately!
One of the reasons that I get so jazzed about people getting healthier is that these bodies of ours are “vessels” and when the vessels are not doing well, we don’t always have the energy or the mindset to do what we are on this earth to do.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 2 Corinthians 4:7
I think it is absolutely fascinating how God made us.Each of us has a different mix of personality and passion. The things someone else gets excited to do would be such a huge strain for me.The abilities God gave some people and the desires that He put in their hearts are the exact right mix of what is needed to act as His conduit in this world!
To be the healthiest version of who God made us to be, honoring our bodies and taking care of our minds, we can do what He made us to do.
I’ve said this before but I think one of the main problems we have in the world is that people are not fulfilling their purpose God gave them.If more people would recognize what they are here for by learning what God says, there would be radical change in this world.
Yes, this is a fallen world, but we are indeed here for a purpose.
Unfortunately, distractions come in many forms.Satan doesn’t have to do much besides distract us with food, drugs, alcohol, condemnation, bitterness, anger, pride, laziness and you can go ahead and add any number of other things to the list. What is your particular distraction in this world?
When you can step back and look at that distraction for what it is, change can start to happen. When you know what sets your heart on fire, and you learn to remove the distractions that so easily entangle, then you become part of the change that this world needs.
Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,Hebrews 12:1
What is your purpose? What is one of your distractions?
Pray today that God will lead you one step closer to doing your purpose and eliminating your distractions!
