With the Power of God behind us, We will not fail!
The morning was filled with tiny mishaps and one was that our computer has been very glitchy since we upgraded our service! Burned bacon to computer meltdowns make for a very fiery start to the day hahaha!
But, I refuse to let it "start my day wrong." I told my husband, Mark, that as soon as I started to recognize the obstacles that are either being put in my way or are being used to build my strength, I feel like there have been more of them or maybe I'm just seeing them as attempts to pull me down! Either way, the cool thing is I can see the obstacles more from a remote perspective.... I am not staying in the frustrated mode because I can see them for what they are! I even find myself smiling when I normally would be stomping around a bit!
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
I know that it is only through God's strength that we have any hope of seeing things the way He does and changing things that need to be changed. I'm still battling with wanting things to go my way, the way I've scheduled or the plan I have, but I am seeing it much more clearly and praying my way to victory when I feel that way. I'm not there yet, but I'm on my way!
It IS hard, though, when I catch myself trying to go around that old familiar mountain...... Maybe it will always threaten to call me back..... But what I've heard from God is this, "the quicker you obey, the sooner you will be on my track and the sooner the blessings can flow and the sooner you'll have peace." It all comes because of His victory with Jesus saving me and His Spirit living in me, but if I don't submit and obey-- even when I want to dig in my heels-- then that mountain trip will continue. Even if I find myself at that mountain again, I can halt and turn around and not just trudge around it again!
1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
God bless your Monday!
P.S. The above photo was taken today when me son came to work with me and struck this pose called the Dab. A quick attitude adjustment allowed me to take in the day in a whole new way!
